What is water pollution?

A 1969 United Nations repot defined ocean pollution as: "The introduction by man, directly or indirectly, of substances or energy into the marine environment, resulting in such deleterious effects as: 

  • Negative effects on human health
  • Harm to lining resources 
  • Delay to marine activities (fishing) 
  • Lack of quality for use of sea water 
  • Reduction of services
This Topic, focuses on helping countries to protect and restore freshwater and marine ecosystems.





Start thinking about your own ways to solve the problem according to your country: 

•How to clean the oceans?
•How to heal marine life affected?
•How to prevent animals from dying by water pollution?
•How to make factories not to produce plastic?
